FIRST (United States Foundation for Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a not-for-profit New Hampshire-based corporation that designs accessible, innovative programs that motivate young people to pursue education and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math, while building self-confidence, knowledge, and life skills.  FIRST offers four core programs, based upon ascending age ranges of today’s youth.  Canyon Crest Academy FIRST Robotics Competition Team 3128 participates in the FRC program (grades 9-12; ages 14-18.)

The Canyon Crest Academy Foundation is a non-profit, parent volunteer organization dedicated to realizing CCA’s educational programs and priorities through financial, volunteer and community support. Since 2004, when Canyon Crest Academy (CCA) opened its doors to 364 freshman students in portable buildings in a parking lot, the Canyon Crest Academy Foundation has been working to raise funds to support the extraordinary range of programs and exceptional quality of education that have become the hallmarks of CCA. These efforts have helped make CCA of one of San Diego’s top- ranked high schools. The Canyon Crest Academy Foundation’s primary goal is fundraising to provide the support for CCA student activities.
